Animal ID: PPR16-104Ariel (female)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is PPR's sweet Ariel. She is a 1 year old, 10 pound Terrier mix (possibly with some Brussels Griffin) from Kentucky. Ariel was found alongside a highway so we do not know much about her history. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She has no medical conditions. She is being fostered in my home with my 12 year old, male and 2 year old, female dogs. She does well with both dogs. She was friends with them the moment she arrived. Ariel loves to run, to chase rabbits and to play with toys. She does not have any aggressive issues. She does not fight over toys, food or attention. Ariel is an escape artist! ... (Read More) She will need an effective and secure fence. She does not like to be crated. She would rather sleep and cuddle with you. We are working on getting her to accept being crated. Ariel is house trained so there is no problem with that. We are starting obedience training with learning to sit, but she is fearful and cowers at commands. She is just starting to walk with a lease so she does not walk well on lease. I do not know how she would do with cats or children. Since she is so docile and cowers, I think she would need children who would know how to handle a dog. Ariel is very sweet and loving. She would like to cuddle all day with you. She would be a good addition to your family! If you have any questions please contact the foster home at the link found at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Ariel16104.html . Fill out an application if you are interested in adopting this pup - you can find those at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Applications.html (Email the foster home and let them know you applied so they can be sure the application is received! ) Ariel just can't wait to find a forever home! Thanks!!! (Less)

Animal ID: PPR16-87Daisy (female)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is our Daisy - a one-year-old sweetheart who weighs 10-11 lbs. Daisy is a Chihuahua mix and we believe she is mixed with Miniature Pinscher. She is a beautiful brown and tan color. Daisy was a shelter dog down in Kentucky who was pulled by one of our members and fostered until we could arrange a transport. We don't know much of her past history. Daisy has been completely vetted - spayed, updated all her vaccinations, heartworm and fecal tested (results negative) and micro-chipped. We have observed that she is an active young dog who loves to jump. She loves to jump up and down while I'm preparing food on the counter. Daisy is ... (Read More)house, crate and leashed trained. She eats her food in her crate, as she can be food aggressive with the other dogs. When she sees that it's time to eat, she'll hop in her crate and wants the door closed. She thoroughly loves her crate. Daisy could be easily crated during a day if you work - however, as soon as you open the crate, you'd better have the outside door open! Daisy has the tendency to be a lady's dog and can be somewhat fearful/scared of men. She has been with us over two weeks and she's getting accustomed to us. She will need someone who will understand that she needs to be the one who approaches you first until she knows you and trusts you. When she first arrived, we would have to open the crate door and allow her to come out on her own terms. If we went to pull her out, she would seriously growl. However, she has come to trust us and these experiences are in the past. However, she might need time to build that relationship once again in her new home. Daisy loves to cuddle and give kisses. She loves attention. She loves to play and lounge around on the couch. She enjoys treats and she prefers to have them given to her once she gets in her crate. Daisy would probably do best with an older single woman who has experience with the Chihuahua breed. We would prefer her adopter to have a fenced-in yard. She'll be a wonderful companion! Animal ID: PPR16-83Banjo (male)

Chihuahua    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! My name is Banjo and I am a cute little Chihuahua living in Ohio and loving it. I am about 4 years old and was adopted by a nice lady who had a major upheaval in her life and with many tears and great regret%BD'%BD| she had to give me back to my original foster family. I'm a soft-haired fella who is great to snuggle in bed with (I sleep under the covers down by your feet), watch TV on the couch with, and go outside for short walks with (as I am a good boy on a leash). My stamina isn't up to par yet so I can only go half-way around the block, but we're working on it. I will walk with anyone who has the leash. (As for kids, at ... (Read More)least little girls that are 10 years old on up.) I might be a little nervous in your home in the beginning, but I am housebroken. I will go as soon as I wake up. I do get a Meaty Bone in the morning after I come in the first time and another one after I come in before we go to bed. I can't tell you what happened to me (since I cannot speak English), but something happened to the area of my upper legs so you have to pick me up by the middle of my body. The vet does not see this as being a problem at any time further on down the road. You're looking for a dog, I'm looking for a family%BD'%BD| maybe we were 'meant to be'? If you think I'm the little guy for you, please fill out an application so I can get my new forever home! If you have any questions please contact my foster home at the link found at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Banjo1683.html.
